This recently constructed, two bedroom, two bath four star waterfront vacation home offers modern comforts and conveniences, privacy and beautiful views of this picturesque Bay. It’s a wonderful place to relax, unwind and take in the natural surroundings.
Mayo Cottage is conveniently located for day trips to the many attractions found on the Bonavista Peninsula. It is within easy driving distance of the historic towns of Trinity and Bonavista. Explore the natural, historic and cultural features of this popular tourist destination. Spend the day whale and ice berg watching, visit a puffin colony*, hike to resettled communities, take a boat tour, go kayaking, attend a play, visit museums, go golfing or relax on the deck. We are located 44 kilometers from the TCH.
The Bonavista Peninsula is a sight-seeing paradise. There is so much to see. Nature lovers can hike or take a boat tour or both to experience the natural beauty of this area! For hikers there are many trails that offer spectacular coastline views, including the famous Skerwink Trail.
The Bonavista Peninsula has a thriving arts and theatre scene. Check out these links. You’re sure to find something to your taste. The English Harbour Arts Association offers art workshops, readings, music and more.
